The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer with exceptional product-design taste.
This is an engineering-first role for someone who can turn complex workflows into clear, polished, production-ready experiences. Our product is multi-surfaced: Web, CLI, agent harnesses. You will own RELAI’s web interface while ensuring that the developer experience is cohesive and seamless across all surfaces.
You’ll take ambiguous problems from idea to shipped product, and improve the product without waiting for detailed specifications.
What You’ll Do
- Build and own high-quality frontend product experiences in TypeScript and React.
- Design and implement interfaces for agent evaluations, optimization and version management.
- Turn complex technical workflows into simple, effective user experiences.
- Work directly with product, AI, and backend engineers to ship end-to-end features.
- Use AI coding tools effectively to move quickly while maintaining strong engineering standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, with experience in modern frontend architecture, component systems, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Exceptional product and visual-design judgment, demonstrated through shipped work.
- Ability to independently take a product problem from ambiguity to a polished implementation.
- High proficiency with coding agents and AI-native development workflows, such as Codex or Claude Code.
- A high-ownership, proactive mindset: you see problems, develop a point of view, and drive solutions to completion.
- Clear communication and comfort collaborating closely with technical teammates.
Nice to Have
- Experience with B2B SaaS, AI products, data products, observability, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with TanStack, Vite, charting or data-table libraries, frontend testing, and design systems.
- Familiarity with backend APIs and enough full-stack experience to make sound end-to-end product decisions.
- Experience at an early-stage company or in a high-autonomy environment.
